Are any of your products suitable for a vegan diet?
Yes, all our products are suitable for a vegan diet as we do not use any ingredients derived from animals in any of our products.
How long can the products be left in the fridge after being opened?
For maximum flavour and freshness, we recommend that you consume the products within 2-3 weeks after opening. However, some products (especially the dressings) are fine in a fridge for up to 6 weeks.
What is the shelf life of your products?
You will find a best before stamp on each jar, but most of our products have a shelf life of approximately 18 to 20 months from the date of production when unopened.

Which of your products are suitable for a low sodium diet?
Apart from the BBQ Sauce, all our other products are classified as low in sodium and are suitable for anyone following a low sodium diet. We do not even have salt in our kitchen! The BBQ Sauce has soy sauce as one of the ingredients which increases the sodium content beyond what is considered to be a low sodium product.
Why is your name Maleny Cuisine when your factory is not currently in the town of Maleny?
Maleny Cuisine was founded in the town of Maleny nearly 30 years ago. The production moved down to the coast in Marcoola for logistical reasons about 15 years ago, but as it was a well-established brand here in Queensland the name Maleny Cuisine was retained. We still use the same great recipes and are still very proud to be a local Sunshine Coast company.
